Senior Content Creator


Floodlight is what happens when you mix the brains of a creative agency with the heart of a production company, we are a ten-strong team comprising a mix of thinkers and makers. With an established office in Adelaide and expanding office in Melbourne, we’re now looking for a gun Senior Content Creator to join our team in Adelaide. We do all things content – from high-end video, advertising, design and animation, working with our clients from strategy through to distribution.

You’ll be joining a team of creatives including directors, producers, editors, designers and VFX artists. More importantly, you’ll be joining an organisation that prides itself on our culture, creativity and effectiveness.


The Job

As a Content Creator, you will have will be just as comfortable in the field as you are in the edit suite. You will understand what drives a story but also be able to carefully apply filmmaking craft to commercial projects. You will have a technical grounding and camera knowledge to produce high-end visuals as a solo shooter or as part of a bigger crew. You will also have a solid knowledge of editing and the post-production process, from L-cuts to Lumetri in Premiere Pro.

Reporting to the Creative Director, your work will be varied, ranging from high-end advertising projects through to corporate brand films. Our clients vary from global giants including Tesla through to medium-sized companies in diverse industries. We have a focus on work in the renewable energy sector which requires interstate travel approximately once per month.

The initial contract term will be full time for six months with the intention of ongoing employment.


About You

The ideal individual will take pride in their initiative and have high expectations of themselves and everyone around them. You’ll have a strong portfolio and at least two years of experience working in the industry. You’ll also:

– Have an uncompromising eye for detail.
– Demonstrated ability to contribute towards, and make stand-out creative work.
– Have strong knowledge and experience of the video production process.
– Highly proficient using the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere.
– Proficient in the use of Canon cameras and gimbal operation.
– Be calm under pressure and have a positive and infectious attitude.
– Hold a relevant qualification (either Uni, TAFE, AWARD school etc.).
– Be willing to divide your time between shooting and editing

This is not an entry-level role. Open to all candidates from Australia and overseas.
Salary to be negotiated depending on experience and suitability to meet the key criteria outlined above.
